As reported by Plastics Technology in their article “Flexible, Multilayer Film Made With 50% Reclaim,” replacing products that previously have been made of various materials with single material films makes a large impact on the recyclability of products.

“This further development will ensure that packaging can be manufactured from raw materials containing a high percentage of recycled plastic waste and be recyclable in the future,” Plastics Technology said.
