According to Plastics Technology in their article “Roll Cooling: Understand the Three Heat-Transfer Processes,” getting roll cooling right can be a tedious process with many areas to consider.
“Designing cooling rolls is complex, tedious and requires a lot of inputs. Getting it wrong may have a dramatic impact on productivity,” Plastics Technology said.
